Each R&C individual brings a different personality and background to the firm. 

Roy has a B.Comm, is a CA, and in addition to his qualification from the Institute of Chartered Business Valuators (CBV), he is recognized by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA) as a valuations specialist (CPA, CA).

Well-versed in all areas of general public practice, Roy has over 25 years experience in accounting, tax, and business valuation, including working for CRA in corporate audit, as CFO of a high-tech corporation to position it to go public, and working on the finances of many small-to-medium size companies.

He has completed the CICA In-Depth Tax Course and lectured on advanced accounting and tax at the postgraduate level.

Roy is a family oriented individual who likes fast red sports cars, soccer, hockey, curling (they say he’s a “natural”) and home improvement. He and his wife Sarah enjoy travel and family gatherings.
